Lead Solutions Architect

As the Lead Solution Architect you will be a trusted advisor and the voice of technology to our

business partners and senior stakeholders. Being a key contributor to the IT strategy, you will

convert strategic goals into initiatives and help build our new business capabilities. Projects and

transformational programmes will need your technical leadership and you’ll be responsible for the

initial analysis, requirements gathering, planning, estimation and creation of the all-important

solution design. Your technical oversight will be essential in the review of proposals, plans and

designs supplied by our service and delivery partners. Maintaining and maturing our IT architecture

knowledge base will also be key to this role, including the of building roadmaps, capability maps and

system information overviews.

Your Key DeliverablesYour Key Deliverables• Create, publish and own Solution Architecture Overviews and Designs• Capture, build, validate, communicate and promote IT capabilities and services• Promote and define proof of concepts to drive technology direction• Develop and manage relationships with business function leads and technical partners• Support the design and implementation of IT roadmaps• Support the evolution of the IT strategyYour Experience & Background• University degree in a technical domain (Engineering / Computer Science)• Significant and broad technology experience within medium or large corporations• Experience as a technical lead in transformational programmes

• Experience in leading and managing technical solutions across a diverse team of internal andexternal resources• Proven ability to lead and manage IT change• Demonstrable ability to build relationships across functions• Strong communication skills (written & verbal)Your Aptitude / Mindset• Confident and enthusiastic communicator who understands the importance of bridging thegap between the CIO, business stakeholders, domain experts and programme leads• Strategic and innovative thinker, but also pragmatic and able to create and convert strategicgoals into initiatives, build capabilities and develop strategic programmes• Demonstrates leadership, client focus and understands the need for an innovative andcohesive IT strategy.• Delivery focussed with a breadth of knowledge and experience that can drive the delivery ofchallenging programmes as well as being reactive to business-led initiatives.
